Karen Le’Que
Founder and Executive Director of Kee to Independent Growth, Inc.
Karen has an extensive background in service coordination, working with individuals with disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and geriatric clients. Her experience spans recovery programs, substance abuse support, and mental health services.
Karen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human & Community Services, is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee (CASAC-T). She became a service coordinator in 1997 and holds CORE and MSC (Medicaid Service Coordinator) certifications, as well as New York State Department of Health training. She has also held roles as a nurse and supervisor in healthcare before founding KIGI.
As a dedicated advocate for veterans, her personal connection to the military, including her husband and brothers’ service, deeply inspires her commitment. Karen’s brother, a veteran who struggled with homelessness, drives her passion for supporting homeless veterans.
Amy Leininger
Assistant Executive Director
Amy has a Bachelor’s in Community and Human Services and years of experience with people with disabilities, including developmental and behavioral health. She has worked across OPWDD waiver programs and draws inspiration from her own sibling with special needs, fostering a deep commitment to quality care.
Martha Devaney
Director of Finance
With a background in human services and business, Martha focuses on strategic planning and improved health outcomes. Her approach balances compassion and analysis, ensuring effective resource management.
Arianna Vecchiarelli
Director of Agency Operations
Arianna holds a Master’s in Forensic Mental Health and has experience in mental health and disability services. She is a passionate advocate and enjoys family time, baking, and reading.
Nicole Miceli
Director of Southern Region Clinical Services
With a Ph.D. in Mental Counseling, Nicole specializes in counseling and diagnostics. She is dedicated to KIGI’s mission and enjoys Netflix, traveling, and bonfires in her free time.
William Decker
Director of Psychosocial Rehabilitation
A U.S. Army Veteran and special education teacher, William has supported individuals with autism and developmental delays. His work focuses on community reintegration and vocational skills.
Kelly Hanafin
Director of Day Programs
With a background in arts and human services, Kelly created an art program promoting expression and inclusion. Her program fosters respect, creativity, and community engagement.
Lillian Caban
Director of Case Management Services
Lillian has over 25 years in case management, focusing on the elderly and disabled. Her compassionate approach supports individuals through the NHTD and TBI waiver programs.
Kristina Whitt
Director of Revenue Management
Kristina began as a biller and has since advanced in finance. Inspired by volunteer work, she remains committed to the senior community and enjoys supporting her daughters’ activities.
